Abstract
Terbang tinggal landas dan mendarat (field performance) merupakan salah satu performa pesawat yang sangat penting untuk diketahui. Dari perhitungan performa ini akan diketahui berapa panjang landasan yang dibutuhkan pada suatu pesawat di saat melakukan terbang tinggal landas (takeoff) dan mendarat (landing). Analisa dilakukan dengan membandingkan field performance antara B737-800 dan B737-900ER. Hasil perhitungan didapat bahwa untuk B737-900ER membutuhkan panjang landasan 10,5% lebih besar dibandingkan B737-800 pada saat takeoff. Dan B737-900ER juga membutuhkan panjang landasan 3,8% lebih besar dibandingkan B737-800 pada saat landing.
Field performance is that one of important for an aircraft. This calculation will be known that how long of runway distance that necessary on an aircraft type. The runway distance are resulted that B737-900ER need more 10,5% than B737-800 for takeoff phase. And then B737-900ER also need more 3,8% than B737-800 for landing phase.
